Michael Conway

Michael Conway – Viticulturist / PCA

Michael has an extensive horticultural background that began working on his family vegetable garden.  As a teenager, he spent many summers employed at a local nursery where he developed a comprehensive understanding of fundamental plant and soil science principles.  Growing up in Marin and Sonoma counties, Michael became passionate about grapevines and decided to enroll in the Viticulture and Enology program at UC Davis, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013.  The following year, he moved to the Central Coast where he began his career in vineyards working various positions including Viticulturist, Vineyard Manager, and Pest Control Advisor for local farming companies and wineries.

As a licensed PCA with an emphasis on plant pathology, Michael is proficient in developing disease management programs focused on powdery mildew and Botrytis bunch rot mitigation.

Michael’s biggest joy, though, is spending time with his son Lachlan and his wife Tracy.  They enjoy exploring local mountains, lazing at the beach, and cooking good food at home.
