Current Vineyard Practices Taking Place

November, 2026

The grape harvest has come to an end, and now it is time to prepare for winter as the vines lose their leaves and move into dormancy.

It is also time for the Pacific Coast Farming managers and crews to take a well deserved breather (and get a full night's sleep).  Their commitment and hard work is impressive each and every harvest season, and throughout the entire year.

Harvest equipment is being cleaned and stored until next year.  The vineyard ground is being ripped and chiseled to break up the soil compaction and prepare for planting the cover crop.
