Current Vineyard Practices Taking Place

July, 2026

The vines are almost ready for harvest 2026.  Crews are shoot thinning, suckering and moving wires.  The vit team will begin sampling grapes for brix and ph levels.  When optimum levels are reached, harvesting will be in full swing.

Sustainable spraying for powdering mildew prevention continues along with herbicide sprays to reduce weed growth.  The row middles are being mowed and disked as needed to keep unwanted vegetation from competing with the vines.
