Current Vineyard Practices Taking Place

Spring is officially here, and we can now enjoy longer days. The rain over the past winter months has definitely left its mark here on the Central Coast.  The vines appreciate the extra moisture!

The crews are lowering the wires in the vineyard and will begin shoot thinning soon. Different floor management activities are taking place such as mowing and disking.  Spraying to prevent powdery mildew will start in the early part of April.

Please be advised there is NO TRESPASSING on any vineyard property. Use caution around vineyards as crews and equipment are coming and going. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at cathe@pacificcoastfarming.com or call (805) 597-8700.
